Live action Death Note coming to US in May!

Viz pictures has set the North American release of the first live-action movie adaptation of Death Note for May 20. It’s going to be a very limited screening of a bit over 300 theaters, spanning just two days, so be sure to reserve your tickets!
Death Note was originally a supernatural suspense Japanese comic series by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata, which spawned an anime TV series and several movies.
The title gained notoriety some months back when a murder case in Belgium evinced a Death Note connection, with the killer copying certain actions by characters from the anime.
