More awards: 12th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize Winners

The Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize is given each year to manga creators who best follow the tradition of anime pioneer and “god of manga” Osamu Tezuka. Both readers and a panel of experts select the winners.
The Grand Prize winner receives about $20,000. This year the Grand Prize went to Masayuki Ishikawa for his comedic manga about a med student who can speak with germs.
