Still more awards: anime wins at Philly Film Fest

Vexille, the CGI anime by Fumihiko Sori and Oxybot was named best animated feature by the jury of the 17th annual Philadelphia Film Festival. Interestingly, it’s a Japanese film invading (and conquering) an American film fest, while at the same time it’s story is about an American in invasion of a fictionalized, futuristic Japan.
The DVD release of Vexille is scheduled for May 20, under license from FUNimation.
