Yoshitaka Amano is one of those artists who transcends his medium–anime, video games, manga, storybooks, comics, and more, Amano’s distinctive touch has won him acclaim the world over.
Amano’s North American publisher announced on their website that he has signed on to direct an anime adaptation of his Mateki: The Magic Flute art book, which in turn is an adaptation of Mozart’s prince-saves-the-princess opera.
